This Privacy Policy describes how and when we collect, use, and share information when you visit or make a purchase from printerfairy.com (the “Site”), contact us, or otherwise use our services through printerfairy.com or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Shopify, payment processing providers, or any third party services you access through this site. You can reference the privacy policy of each third party provider to learn more about its privacy practices.

1. Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorized when you registered to this site), such as your name, email address, and the details for the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order of invitations, for example).

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

2. Why We Need Your Information and How We Use It
We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

• communicate with you;
• screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
• when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services;
• as needed to provide we services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, personalize your designs, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for our mailing list;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services; and 2) Compliance with the Shopify and payment processing providers policy and terms of use. We use your information as necessary to comply with our obligations under the Shopify and payment processing providers policy and terms of use.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

• Compliance with laws. We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.
