Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information PrinterFairy ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit printerfairy.com (the "Site"), buy from us, sign up for our newsletter or contact us, and what we do with it.

Some services we use have their own privacy policies, which also apply to you: Shopify, Corjl, your payment provider and the others listed in section 3. We don't own or control them, so we recommend reading their policies too.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. To process your order and deliver your files, we need your name, email address, billing address and the details of what you're buying. If you personalize a design, we also receive what you add to it, such as names, ages, dates, party details or a photo. When you contact us, use the chat or send a custom order request, we receive your name, email address and your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, we receive your email address. When you leave a review, we receive your name and your review.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, we collect information about your device, such as your IP address, browser, time zone and the cookies on your device ("Device Information"). We also collect how you use the Site, such as the pages you visit. Some of these cookies come from our analytics and advertising partners (see section 3).

We don't receive or store your full card details. Payments are handled by your payment provider.

2. How we use it and why (legal bases)

We use your information only when the law allows it. These are the legal bases we rely on:

• To provide our services (contract): to process your order, deliver your files, prepare custom designs, answer your questions and resolve any problems with an order.
• With your consent: for example, to send you our newsletter or to use advertising cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time: for the newsletter, by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email; for cookies, by changing your choice in our cookie banner. You can also write to us.
• To meet legal obligations: for example, to keep order records for tax purposes or to respond to a court order or legal claim.
• For our legitimate interests, as long as your rights don't outweigh them: to run, secure and improve the Site and our services, to understand how the Site is used, and to meet our obligations under Shopify's policies and terms of service.

3. Who we share it with

We only share your personal information when we need to, and only what's needed for each purpose.

Service providers. We use these companies to run our shop:

• Shopify: hosts our store and handles checkout, orders and payments.
• Shopify Email: sends our newsletter.
• Shopify Inbox: powers the chat on the Site.
• Shopify Forms: powers some of the sign-up forms on the Site.
• Corjl: lets you customize editable templates online.
• Judge.me: collects and displays product reviews.
• Consentmo: shows our cookie banner and saves your cookie choices.
• Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics): helps us understand how visitors use the Site.
• Your payment provider (for example, PayPal): processes your payment when you check out.

Advertising partners. We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who may be interested in our designs. To do this, they use cookies and similar technologies on the Site and receive information such as your Device Information and the pages you visit. You can choose which cookies you accept in our cookie banner, and you can manage the ads you see in your Meta and Google account settings.

Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, your information may be transferred as part of that deal, only as far as the law allows.

Legal requirements. We may use, keep or share your information if we believe in good faith that it's needed to respond to legal process or a government request, or to prevent fraud or other illegal activity.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy.

• Orders: we keep order records for as long as tax and other laws require.
• Newsletter: we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

5. International transfers

Our service providers store and process information in the United States and other countries. This means your personal information may be transferred to a country whose data protection laws are different from yours. When we transfer information outside the European Union, we rely on legal safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to keep it protected.

6. Your rights

If you live in the European Union, you have these rights over your personal information:

• Access: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction, restriction and deletion: you can ask us to correct your information, limit how we use it or delete it. We'll delete it when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Objection: you can object to us using your information for our legitimate interests or for marketing. If you do, we'll stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue.
• Complaint: you can raise a concern with your local data protection authority.
